Serambau Island or Sarangbaung is a beautiful island located on the North side of Nias Island and is still included in the North Nias Regency. The island can be reached for 2.5 hours drive from the center of Gunungsitoli City (1 hour drive from Gunungsitoli to Asi Walo Beach and 1.5 hours fishing boat ride from Asi Walo to Serambau Island).

Serambau Island has white sand beaches and some beautiful coral reef spots. Visitors can snorkel / freediving, swim and fish there. This island has an area of 140 ha with a diameter of 1.4 Km.
